Age 60, Lawton - Services will be 12:00 PM Friday at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Senior Pastor K. L. Paige officiating. Mrs. Warren died Thursday in Oklahoma City. Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born May 27, 1947 in Temple, Texas to Manuel J. and Moria D. (Ward) Burton. At an early age she attended Bethel I M E Church. She attended Temple School and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1965. While at Dunbar she was a member of several clubs and activities. She was crowned prom queen of the 1965 graduating class. She attended Prairie View A & M College. She worked for Texas Instruments in Temple and Family Dollar Distribution Center in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was an accomplished seamstress and interior decorator. She married Bobby Warren in 1990. She is survived by her husband, of the home, a son, Charles L. King, Jr., Dallas, Texas, a step son, Chris Warren, Oklahoma City, three granddaughters, Brittany and Kiera, both of Arlington, Texas, and Shaiquan, Temple, Texas, a grandson, Tyler, Dallas, a brother and his wife, Dwain and Orneta Burton, Abilene, Texas, three sisters, Deborah Jacobs and Barbara Jones, both of Temple, Texas and Royslin Broaden, Lawton, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
