Funeral service for Jimmie Joyce Foley, 88, will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Schneider, Pastor, St. John Lutheran Church, officiating. Mrs. Foley died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in a local care center. Burial will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Jimmie Joyce was born May 28, 1924 in Bell Plains, Texas to Roy and Hazel (Greeson) Brantley. She met and then married the love of her life, Henry Wilson Foley on January 2, 1947 in Temple, Texas. He died December 24, 1990. She became an "Army wife" living in Japan, Germany and many places in the United States. She was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church. She lived her final years at Ten Oaks Retirement Home, where she was loved and cared for by many. She is survived by two daughters and sons in law Joyce and Gene Holleque, Arlington, Texas, and Jerrie and Larry Edzards, Norman, Oklahoma; a son and daughter in law, Terry and Lisa Foley, Edmond, Oklahoma; a sister, Jerri Barabas, Luling, Texas; and she was "Mimi' to nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
