Funeral for Jewel Dean Huntley, 88, Elgin will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Western Hills Church of Christ, Lawton with Harley Davidson, minister officiating. Mrs. Huntley died Sunday, May 15, 2011 in Snyder, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Lawton. She was born April 9, 1923 in Luling, Texas to Elmer and Anna Sutton. She married Seth Morrow Huntley on December 15, 1944. They were happily married for 43 years before his death on June 2, 1988. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Altus, Beta Sigma Phi and Altus Garden Club. She was a homemaker, whose passions in life included church, bird watching, creating scrapbooks for her grandchildren, gardening, reading and her family. Survivors include her daughter Pamela Hurst and her husband Larry, sons, Seth Huntley and his wife Cathy and Arthur Huntley, grandchildren, Mark Glencross and Gary Glencross, Leslie Rainey and her husband Jason, Tiffany Gulledge and her husband Justin, and Sara Riner and her husband Stephen, Alan Huntley, Courtney Wedel and her husband Ryan, and Lora Tolbert and her husband Adam, great grandchildren, Beth Glencross, Kendal Rainey, Grant Rainey, Wiley Gulledge, Van Gulledge, Jaiden Huntley, Cale Huntley, Ryan Tolbert, Noah Tolbert and a sister, Bobbi Cook and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, Beth Huntley, brothers, Emmett Sutton and Kenneth Sutton, and sisters, Macy Monk, Mozelle Krause and Jonelle Burns.
