Age 97, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Rogers officiating. Mrs. Jenkins died at home on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Jenkins was born December 10, 1913 in Lockesburg, Arkansas to Masim Alexander and Alice (McGee) Janes. She married Ben Jenkins on September 27, 1930 in Blair, Oklahoma. He died on May 16, 1990. They farmed in the Carter area for many years. Mrs. Jenkins had been a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her son and daughter in law, Archie and Reta Jenkins of Lawton; three grandchildren, Clayton and his wife Robbie Jenkins of Wichita, Kansas, Jonita Cornelius of Oklahoma City, and Regenia and her husband Rick Rogers of Lawton; six great grandchildren, Jamie Jenkins, Stacy and her husband Matt Malloney, Brooke and her husband Blake Rhoades, Melissa Rogers, Ben Cornelius and Erick Rogers; and a great great granddaughter, Brynlee Rhoades. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Betty Denton and a great granddaughter, Kacee Rogers.
