Age 73, Lawton - Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. Mrs. Belter died Tuesday in Duncan. Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born on January 29, 1934 in Forrester, Arkansas to Harvey J. and Glen H. (Neely) Davis. She married CW4 (Retired) Henry John Belter in Waldron, Arkansas on May 23, 1953. He died on February 9, 1997. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her mother, Glen Hawkins of Waldron, Arkansas; two sons, John D. Belter and his wife, Mariellen, of Montclair, Virginia, and Bill Belter of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; three grandchildren, Rachel, David and Jennifer Belter; two brothers, her twin brother, John Davis and his wife, Jolene, of Marlow, and Wayne Davis of Waldron, Arkansas; a sister, Betty Garner of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, stepfather, Dwayne Hawkins, and a sister-in-law, Treva Davis.
