Funeral service for Jesse L. Rogers, 74, Lawton, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Rogers died Friday, March 6, 2015, in Lawton. The family will greet friends from 5-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Jesse was born August 15, 1940 in Lawton to Joe R. and Margaret (Gonzales) Rogers. He grew up in Lawton, attended Roosevelt Elementary, Central Junior High School and was a 1959 graduate of Lawton High School. He married Johnna Diggs on August 21, 1970 in Lawton. He began a long career in the moving & storage industry with Bestway Van Lines, worked many years for Fletcher Transfer and at the time of his illness was employed with Lawton Moving and Storage. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed golf. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Johnna Rogers, of the home; five children, Sheri L. Gray, Preston Rogers, Terry Rogers, Johnny Rogers and Jennifer Rogers Cox; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister and brother in law, Fran L. Rogers Douglas and husband Gary, Corvallis, Oregon; a brother and sister in law, Richard R. and Kathy Rogers, Lawton; a half brother and his wife, Joey and Marianna Curia, Alsup, Illinois; sisters in law and brothers in law, Susie McCuiston, Charlie and MaryAnn Diggs and Pat and Lisa Diggs; many nieces, nephews and friends. His parents and a brother, Joseph Anthony Rogers, preceded him in death.
