Graveside service for Jerry Treadwell will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the  Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder with Rev. Les Bussell, pastor of the Snyder First United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

*The family will greet friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm.*

Jerry Neal Treadwell, 81, Snyder, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Lawton, Oklahoma.  He was born May 9, 1935 in Snyder to Dea and Katherine Treadwell.  He went to high school in Snyder and graduated in 1953.  He married Carol Jeanne Willis on August 30, 1953 in Snyder.  He went on to attend college at Oklahoma State University and served 1 and ½ years in the National Guard.  He and Carol Jeanne returned to Snyder where Jerry was a successful farmer and rancher.  He enjoyed working with his cattle, time at the ranch and spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his wife Carol Jeanne Treadwell who would have been his bride of 63 years if he had lived seven more days; a son Dr. Greg and wife Sheila Treadwell; four grandchildren, Dr. Nick Treadwell, Daniel and wife Cody Treadwell, Lauren Treadwell and TSgt Matthew and wife Rebecca Treadwell and seven great-grandchildren, Cadence, Cheyenne, Hailey, Raeden, Turner, Lilly and Joshua.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dea and Katherine Treadwell, two brothers, Decamp and Bob, and a son Brad Treadwell.
