On the morning of Tuesday, May 23, 2023, Jerry R Price, 95, of Lawton, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord. Jerry was born to Roland B and Naomi M (Norris) Price on May 27, 1927 in Upton, Wyoming.  In July of 1946, he married his sweetheart, Darlene Price. Together they raised three children, Sharon Marshall, Danny Price and Arlinda Taylor.  Jerry had to say goodbye to his lovely bride on October 16, 2019 after 73 wonderful years of marriage. Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.  He was employed as a service and salesman for Skelly Gas; a life insurance salesperson for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.; and insurance and investment salesperson for Waddell & Reed, Inc. where he retired in 2008.  He received all the top honors that each company offered each year.  He was a member of the J.C. Life Underwriters Association of Oklahoma and Kansas.

Jerry dedicated his life to family, church, and the community.  He loved having his family together often, but especially during holidays.  He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports, sing in the choir and perform in the band.  If there was an activity for his grandkids, he was there with Darlene to support and cheer them on as often as possible.  He enjoyed planning family reunions with the Price and Norman families.  We will miss hearing him respond "I Love Me Too" after we would tell him how much we loved him.  Grandpa was ornery, supportive, funny and everyone loved being around him.

He was a charter and life member of LaSill Optimist Club of Lawton.  He was also a member of the Christian Men's Breakfast Club and elder at the First Presbyterian Church, Lawton.

Jerry is survived by his three children, Sharon, Danny and his wife, Joyce, and Arlinda; his grandchildren, Arlynda and Denis, Laurie and Tony, Phillip and Lauree Beth, Kim and Scott, Brian and Teal, and Todd; his great grandchildren, Alexandria and Justin, Austin, Audry, Avery, Brittany, Dylan, Alyssa, Ethan, Stella, Ashton, Tobias, Reese and Evan.  He is also survived by siblings, Milly Chard, Larry Price, Marjorie Topping and Jane Farris.

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene, five siblings, one grandson and two great grandchildren.
