Graveside service for Jerry Wayne McCorkle, 68, Snyder will be at 2:00 pm Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder with Bob Boren, Frederick, OK officiating Jerry passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 in Snyder. Services are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. *The family will greet friends Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the funeral home from 4pm until 6pm.* Jerry was born November 19, 1946 in Hobart, OK to J.L. and Pauline (Gibson) McCorkle. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1965. After high school Jerry married Dorothy Russell, they had one son Jerry and they made their home in Lawton where he worked for Sears. He then married Pat Watkins in 1974 and had one son Tommy and two step-sons Scott and Steven, they then moved back to Snyder to run the family farm and business. In 1990 he married JoAnn Thibodeaux and she had a daughter Brandi and a son Bo. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, grandchildren, family, friends telling jokes, cooking Sunday dinner and watching dirt track racing. He is survived by his two sons, Tommy and wife Carmen McCorkle and Jerry and wife Imelda McCorkle both of Snyder, OK, two step-sons, Steven Sides and Scott Sides, a brother Jimmy McCorkle of Snyder, OK, seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Blake, Jerremey, Tabitha, Lawson, Kirklyn McCorkle and Bryce Archer. He is also survived by his cousin Vernon Richardson of Snyder. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter Brandi Thibodeaux.
