Jerry Wilburn Birdwell passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Snyder, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

Born January 31,1942, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Wilburn Phillip (Buck) Birdwell and Velma Inez (Russell) Birdwell. He served in the U.S. Army and Oklahoma National Guard earning the rank of Sergeant. After leaving the service returned home and went to work as an iron worker at Altus Air Force Base building aircraft hangers and many other buildings. He later went into the auto body repair business owned and operated Jerry's Body Shop in Mountain Park, Oklahoma until retirement. He was a Mountain Park Volunteer Firefighter for many years. He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Mangum, Oklahoma.

Jerry is survived by two step daughters, Diana Cain and husband Michael and Denise Pelt husband Michael, three sisters, Shirley Bradshaw of Alexander, Arkansas, Marquita Ritcheroen and husband Charles of Las Vegas, Nevada, and half-sister Lynda Jones and husband Ronnie of Altus, Oklahoma, one brother, Larry Birdwell and wife Debbie, step brother, Rickey Stewart and wife Donna of Shawnee, Oklahoma, step sister Carolyn Buxton and husband James of Altus, Oklahoma.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sylvia Bradshaw and brother-in-law, Louis Bradshaw
