Funeral service for Jennie L. Reed will be at 1:30 pm Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Menge, Pastor of Western Hills Christian Church, Lawton officiating.

Burial will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.

Jennie passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 in a Lawton hospital.

Jennie L. Reed, 90, Lawton was born July 10, 1925 in Davis, OK to William (Bill) and Mary Autry. The family soon located to Butler, OK where her father farmed. She had five brothers and four sisters. All have preceded her in death except for her sister Dr. June Duncan who lives in Alaska. At seventeen she married Norman Ward and moved to Oklahoma City. There they had a son Larey. She worked for Sears for many years before going to work for Avon as a district sales manager. She worked for Avon numerous years before her retirement some years ago. She later married CW3 (Retired) Fred W. Reed. He served in the US Army here at Fort Sill. He passed away September 28, 1996.

She leaves behind her son Larey E. Ward of Lawton, two granddaughters, Michelle Crane and husband David and their two daughters Lauren and Ashley Crane, and Andrea Tate and husband Robert and their two children, Alex Ward and Holly Ward, all of Lawton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
