Mrs. Bridel was born in Rockport, Kentucky on March 17, 1934. She graduated salutatorian of her class in 1952 from Central City High School. On December 6, 1952 she married U.S. Army paratrooper Robert R. Bridel of Peabody, Kansas. He died September 2, 1989. Together they traveled the world and settled in Lawton where Mrs. Bridel resided for most of the past fifty years until she recently moved to Benton, Arkansas to be closer to her daughter. She was a charter member of First Baptist East.     She is survived by her four children and their spouses, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.   Mrs. Bridel will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but she is now in the presence of her greatest joy and love, the Lord Jesus.
