Memorial service for Jeanne Lou Adams, 56, Lawton will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6602 N.W. Elm, Lawton, Oklahoma with William Terry, elder officiating. Mrs. Adams peacefully passed away April 7, 2014 in Lawton. Her words, "I've lived a happy beautiful life with a wonderful family and friends" capture her love for those who surrounded her. Jeanne was born on December 28, 1957 in Joplin, Missouri; one of eleven children born to Robert and Susan Burns. She married her high school sweetheart, Frederick "Doc" Adams and traveled with her family to live in Italy and then came to Lawton, Oklahoma where she settled with her family. Jeanne worked as a home health nurse. Her love for her family, friends and Jehovah God was her life's passion and real honor. She will be missed but never forgotten by Frederick "Doc" Adams, her two children, Leah McMahon and her husband Patrick and Sonya DeAugustine Beamesderfer, her four granddaughters, Megan, Emma, Alaina and Elizabeth, mother, Susan Burns, four sisters, Mary, Beverly, Martha and Carolyn and three brothers, Max, Mark and Jeremy. She was preceded in death by her father, two sisters, Sharon and Theresa and a brother, Jimmy.
