Age 74, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Steven Berlin, officiating. Mrs. Rodgers died Friday at a local hospital. Burial will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. Mrs. Rodgers was born on September 29, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Daniel K. and Hannah P. (Ha'o) Kekahuna. She married SSG (Ret) Bobby G. Rodgers on May 3, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He died on May 23, 1997. She grew up in Hawaii and had been a resident of Lawton since 1979. She was a stay at home mom until her children graduated high school. She then worked for Beall's Department Store in the Central Mall before moving to Beall's/Stage until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She is survived by four sons and their wives, Charles and Wendy Rodgers of Lawton, Danny and Kathy Rodgers of Walters, Paul and Kim Rodgers of Temple, Texas and Bobby and Starla Rodgers of Lawton; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Theresa and Eddie Olds of Oklahoma City and Brandi Rodgers of Lawton; beloved friend Dottie; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
