Funeral service for Jean Jackson, 77, Snyder will be at 2:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Snyder with Pastor William Dickey, Dr. Mike Geiger and Rev. Kerry Glasgow officiating. Jean died Monday, October 28, 2013 at Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. * The family will greet friends Thursday evening, October 31, at the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:30 pm * Jean was born April 5, 1936 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to John Travis and Willie Simmons Miller. Jean grew up in Mountain Park and graduated from Mountain Park High School in 1954. She married Boby Ray Jackson on June 12, 1954 in Hobart, Oklahoma. To this marriage two children were born, Dennis Wayne and Carol Jean. Throughout her life she loved being with her family and friends, attending her grandchildren's activities, watching ballgames and listening to country music. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bob, two children, Dennis Wayne Jackson and wife Teresa of Indiahoma, Carol McPhail and husband Mark of Snyder, three grandchildren, Cory Jackson and wife Jena of Snyder, Denver McPhail and wife Sarah of Tulsa, Mack McPhail of Duncan, two great grandchildren she cherished, Drew Keenan Jackson of Snyder and Lincoln Mark McPhail of Tulsa. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Woodrow, Powel, Doug, J.T. and an infant sister.
