Funeral service for Jean London Cornelius, 86, Plano, TX will be at 1:30 pm Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel . She passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Plano, TX. Burial will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, OK. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5pm until 7pm. Jean was born December 20, 1928 in Denison, TX. She married Lee C. Cornelius on December 20, 1952. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1992. Jean was a long-term resident of Lawton, Oklahoma and was very active in the Military Widow's Society where she served as past president. She was an avid bridge player and volunteered for many organizations including the Fort Sill National Cemetery and Meals on Wheels. Her favorite vacation destination was Hawaii, where she spent many wonderful times. Survivors include her 8 children: David Cornelius and wife Lillian of Houston, TX, Nancy Barrineau of Dyersburg, TN, Carol Collier and husband Don of Azle, TX, Pat McEuen and husband Mac of Rush, CO, Jerry Cornelius and wife Barbara of Richardson, TX, Terry Cornelius and wife Melanie of Frisco, TX, Pam Cornelius of Kilauea, HI, Kaye Jennings and husband Tim of Duncan, OK, 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wilsford of Albuquerque, NM.
