(Moffatt) Morris.  She attended schools in Boswell as well as Bennington High School.  She married Donald J. Colling on August 31, 1944 in Lawton, Oklahoma and had one son and two daughters.  She later married Gerald S. Kyle, Sr. on November 12, 1960 and had two sons.  CWO2 (Ret.) She was also a member of the Society of Military Widows Chapter 6 and enjoyed her association with the Sassy Sexy Sooner Red Hats Club where her nickname was "Chatty Max."

As a military wife, Maxcine was privileged to travel and reside at military posts both stateside and overseas to include Japan, France and Germany.  A friendly person, she never met a stranger.  She will be fondly remembered by all her grandchildren and friends for her "special" banana bread and Lemon Jello Cake, that became her calling card later in life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

She is survived by four of her children and their spouses:  Jeanne E. Purvis and husband Gene of Lawton; Patricia A. Burns and husband Tony of Apache, OK; Gerald S. Kyle, Jr. and husband Bruce Coyne of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; and Derald F. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her son Johnny Robert Colling, one brother Michael Morris, one sister Bernelda Ticer and one infant grandson Patrick Allen Brooks.
