After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Jannette Lou Green, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 27 th , 2019 in Cedar Park, Tx. She was born June 5, 1943 to Elvin and Ellen Sims. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1961. Jannette Green was married to her husband, Edward Green in 1962.  They lived in Lawton, Oklahoma for 51 years.

Jannette was a lifelong member of Cameron Baptist Church and loved to sing in the choir. When the most recent years took her memory, it did not take her love for hymns she used to sing in church. While she was known as a career woman, her heart and passion belonged to her family. Working full time, she still made time to be a Cub Scout leader, volunteer with the PTA, and was an officer for the Lawton Takedown Club. Jannette was immensely proud of her family, and leaves nothing behind but cherished memories.

She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Green and wife, Angie Green of Leander, Texas and Keith Green and wife, Tracy Green of Newcastle Oklahoma, her three grandchildren Shelby Kurz of Watertown New York, Jerry "Ryan" Green of  Dallas, Texas, Jeremiah Green of Newcastle, Oklahoma, one great grandchild, Ada Kurz and one sister, Charlotte Joiner, Siloam Springs Arkansas.

Jannette was predeceased by her loving husband, parents and sister, Gwen Logan.
