Graveside service for Janice F. Stinnett, 66, Lawton, will be at 2:00pm Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Delbert Hughes, Pastor, Lighthouse Church of God, Lawton, officiating. Mrs. Stinnett died Monday, December 17, 2012 in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Janice was born July 16, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Walter and Fern Marie (Callison) Mabray. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1964, and then married Johnnie Stinnett on June 5, 1964 in Oklahoma City. She worked for many years at Lawton High School and was known to the kids as the "Candy Lady". She enjoyed her family, friends, and loved her animals and crochet. Survivors include her husband Johnnie Stinnett of the home, her parents Walter and Fern Mabray of Oklahoma City, OK, two children, Cary Stinnett of Lawton, OK, Kelly Stinnett of Mesa, AZ, two granddaughters, Chelsea Romine and Courtney Romine of Lawton, OK and four Grandsons, Austin Stinnett, Alex Stinnett, Aaron Stinnett and Ace Stinnett, all of Mesa, AZ.
