Funeral service for Janet Sue Shelton will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delbert Beard officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, Oklahoma.

Janet Sue Shelton passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, in Bethany, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. She was born on November 2, 1954, in Electra, Texas, to Walter and Billie J. (Haining) Burt.

Janet grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Elgin High School. She went on to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Janet dedicated her career to serving others through her work as a pharmacist. She served in Civil Service with the Department of the Army, first in Germany and later at Fort Sill, where she continued her service until her retirement.

A lifelong learner and professional, Janet was active in various pharmacy organizations. Outside of work, she had a deep love for animals.

She is survived by her son, Ryan Shelton and his husband Aaron Eberley as well as other extended family.

Her parents, several siblings and her aunts, Dovie Mae Ramsey and Juanita Young, preceded her in death.
