Private family graveside service for Jane Y. Billings, 87, Lawton will be held Tuesday, February, 25, 2014 at the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, with Rev. Dr. Bill Schneider, Pastor, St. John Lutheran Church officiating Mrs. Billings died Sunday, February 23 at her home. She was born December 25, 1926 in Tokyo, Japan. She married Benjamin Paul White, Sr. in Japan and they had two children. They came to the United States in 1954 and she became an American citizen soon afterward. Her citizenship was something she cherished. They were later divorced and she married John Billings on December 6, 1965. She was a homemaker who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her two children, Benjamin Paul White, Jr. and wife Judith and Betty Aliff and husband Joe Bailey, all of Lawton; five grandchildren, Christina Biscaino and husband James, Donna Anderson and husband Michael, Melanie Sandles and husband Christopher, John White and Todd White with Leigh Crain; seven great grandchildren, Randall, Brandon, Matthew, Madison, Alexandria, Nehemiah and Keelee; and a sister, Mary Bellman, Seattle.
