Age 69, Lawton - Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Lawton with Rev. Kirk Larkin, Pastor officiating. Mrs. Strawn died Thursday in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. *** A Wake service will be held Sunday evening at 7:00pm at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. *** She was born June 19, 1939 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Hugh and Florene (Pate) Patterson. She graduated high school in Tulsa, and attended St. Anthony's Catholic School for Nursing. She went to work for Comanche County Memorial Hospital on August 30, 1966. In 1975 and 1976 she was the Assistant Director of Nursing. She retired on April 17, 1998 as the Director of Nursing. She worked at Adventure Travel from 1998 until 1999, and then went to work for Southwestern Medical Center in May of 1999 as a Registered Nurse and Revenue Integrity Specialist. She was an avid traveler and visited many countries in the world. Survivors include her father Hugh Don Patterson of Pea Ridge, AR, two sons, Michael Strawn and Matthew Strawn and a daughter Kim Wiggins, all of Lawton. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Luke, Landon and Dakota Strawn. She was preceded in death by her mother Florene.
