Graveside service for James Lawrence Tyner was held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Oklahoma.

Burial was under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

James Lawrence Tyner, 79, Lawton passed away October 17, 2021 in Lawton.  He was born November 29, 1941 in Fort Carson, Colorado to J. L. Tyner and Dorothy L. McCoy.  James graduated from Lawton High School in 1960 and soon after joined the National Guard 45 ^th Infantry Division. He spent a total of 18 years in the military.  James married LuWayne Gilley.  They later divorced.  He later married Jinnie Gonzales.  He preceded her in death.  She passed away July 4, 2009.  James was a die-hard NY Yankees fan.  He retired from LATS in Lawton, where he was a bus driver.

He is survived by two daughters, LeAnn and Wayna, four grandchildren and two brothers, John Tyner and Dan McCoy.

James is preceded in death by his parents and wife Jeannie Gonzalez.
