Cyril - Memorial service for James Henry Liles, 72, Cyril, will be 10:30 am Monday, February 11, 2013, in the Fletcher United Methodist Church with Pastor Laurie Stinnett, Cyril United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Liles died Thursday February 7, 2013 at his home. Private burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Fletcher. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. James Henry was born June 12, 1940 in Seminole, Oklahoma to James Benjamin Franklin and Mary Lucille (Higdon) Liles. He graduated from the Cyril Public Schools and attended Cameron University. He married Shirley Brown on February 12, 1971 in Cyril. He retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority in 1995 after 27 years. Before that he had worked for the grain elevator in Elgin. He was a member of the Cyril United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; a daughter and son in law, Nela & Jimmy Edwards, Tecumseh, Oklahoma; grandson, Brock Cowen, Lawton; two granddaughters, Sarah Cowen, Oklahoma City, and Drew Cowen, Cyril; father in law and mother in law, Bill and Peggy Brown, Cyril; and two cousins, Katy and CC Hardzog, Sterling, and Ike and Lilla Higdon, Fletcher.
