Burial with military honors will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends Wednesday evening, May 18, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

James Bruce Leonard, 66, Lawton, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from complications of Agent Orange.  He passed at home with his wife and children by his side.  He was born November 7, 1949 in Lawton, the son of  Mr. Everette M. Leonard and Mrs. Aleene M. Leonard;  the second of 4 children.

Mr. Leonard was the owner and operator of Sooner Acoustics. His hobbies were custom woodworking, drag racing, photography and playing guitar.  He served his country in the U.S Army stationed in Vietnam.

Mr. Leonard is survived by his wife, Mrs. Geraldine Margarett Leonard; daughter, Miss Kirsten Fraser; and son, Mr. Alex Fraser all of Lawton. Also, Step-Mother, Mrs. Peggy Zimmerman and husband Mr. Paul (Hap) Zimmerman of Ft. Myers Florida. As well as sisters; Mrs. Shirley Dodd and husband Mr. J. Thomas Dodd, of Sterling, CO; and Mrs. Susan Ringo and husband, Mr. Jack Ringo of Howe, TX.; and nephews; Mr. James (Red) Whicker of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Mr. Matthew Whicker of Coos Bay, OR. On his wife's side he is survived by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Maureen Millward of CA; brothers-in-law, Mr. Michael Millward and wife Mrs. Sheila Millward of ID, as well as Mr. William Millward and wife, Mrs. Boom Millward;  sisters-in-laws, Mrs. Pamela Muller and Mrs. Deborah Pinkler also of California. Not to mention a bevy of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Everette M. Leonard and Mrs. Aleene M. Leonard; as well as his sister, Mrs. Jaclin Rothweil; and sister-in-law Roxanna Bergthold.
