Age 84, Chickasha - Services will be 3:00 PM Monday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Monty Baggett, Pastor, Southeast Baptist Church, Muskogee, officiating. Mr. Lamb died Thursday at his home. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery. He was born on October 18, 1924 in Fox, Oklahoma to Frank and Rhoda (Sealy) Lamb. He served in the Merchant Marines and was a veteran of World War II. He married Dorothy Allene Roe in Chattanooga, Oklahoma on August 17, 1944. She died on July 21, 1998. He was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lawton. Survivors include three daughters, Jeannie Sheffield and her husband, Richard Peter, of Dallas, Texas, Darlene Griggs and her husband, Stephen, of Yukon, and Debbie Lamb of Chickasha; six grandchildren, Rhonda Ford of The Colony, Texas, Kelli Birkett of Sachse, Texas, Stephanie Rose of Moore, Heather McNeff of Mustang, Michelle Kile of Yukon and Todd Griggs of Yukon; 12 great grandchildren, a brother, Eddie Don Lamb of Tuttle, and many nieces and nephews. His wife, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
