Memorial service for James L. Given, 63, Lawton will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with George Weber officiating. Mr. Given died Friday at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. James was born May 15, 1949 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to James Lloyd and Marjory L. (Belcher) Given. He married Nancy Walp on January 9, 1987 in Lawton. James was a diesel mechanic for several businesses in Lawton and the City of Lawton. Survivors include his wife of the home; a brother and his wife, John and Carolyn Given, Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews; two brothers in law, Thomas James Walp and Richard James Walp, both of Texas; a sister in law, Lucretia Taylor, Texas; many friends; and his Snap-on guy, Larry Williams.
