Dr. Earley passed away April 16, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a life full of excellence. He was the son of Harold Edward Earley, deceased, and Jean D. Earley, of Lawton, OK and his adventure began when he was born in Kansas, September 16, 1943. His adult explorations began at Oklahoma University where two important events occurred in 1965. He graduated with a degree in Psychology and married his four-year beloved, Lurlene Hulme Earley, formerly of Chickasha, OK. They sustained their love lasting 47 ½ years of marriage and beyond. Continuing the military family tradition he enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1966 moving to the early commissioning program in 1968. He was drawn to his life calling and attended Dental School at the University of Louisville graduating in 1971. Entering active duty as a Captain in the U.S. Army he advanced up the ranks in the Dental Corps. He then desired to explore more the uniqueness of each patient by being an orthodontist. He graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1981. In 1994 he reached a pinnacle by becoming Board Certified. Requiring not only an oral and written exam but the completion of many specific cases, it was made all the more difficult by his roaming Army career. After rising from private to full bird Colonel, in June 1993 he retired from the US Army. He worked in private practice and then contracted overseas before fully retiring in 2008 after 27 years of persistently pursuing distinction in orthodontic care.
