Isabel Feliciano passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 97. She was born to Pedro and Isabel (Sebastia) Oliva in Antilla, Cuba, on April 18, 1928.

Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Panama, where she was raised. Isabel was the second of six children. As the oldest daughter, she took on the role of caring for her siblings, offering both personal and written advice. "Ita," as her brothers and sisters called her, was known for her love and guidance. She had a lifelong passion for books and education and was admired for her beautiful penmanship. She attended the Universidad de Panama, where she met the love of her life, Pedro A. Feliciano, who was serving in the United States Army and stationed in Panama at the time. They met while she was riding her bike with her sister Maria. They were married on August 6, 1955, at Fort Davis in the Panama Canal Zone and shared over 67 years of marriage filled with love.

Together, they had four children: Isabel Feliciano Papadopoulos, Pedro A. Feliciano, Jr., Jose Feliciano, and Carlos Feliciano. Isabel was the epitome of a military wife, dedicating herself to raising their children through numerous moves and deployments, including during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In 1961, they purchased a home in Lawton, Oklahoma, while Pedro was stationed at Fort Sill, and they returned there upon his retirement. Lawton remained their home from 1974 onward.

She cherished her role as "Lita" to her grandchildren: Panos, Alex, Michael, David, Jason, Christina, Pedro, Abbie, Ella, and Olivia. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Isabel Oliva; her husband, Pedro A. Feliciano; her daughter, Isabel Papadopoulos; her brother, Jose Oliva; and her sister, Maria Havron.

She is survived by her children: Pedro (Angela) Feliciano, Jr., Jose (Karen) Feliciano, and Carlos (Ashley) Feliciano; her grandchildren: Panos and Alex Papadopoulos; Christina Franklin and Pedro Feliciano III; Michael, David, and Jason Feliciano; and Abbie Poindexter, Ella, and Olivia Feliciano; as well as six great-grandchildren.
