Age 99, Walters - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Samples died Sunday in Lawton. A private family burial will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born March 28, 1911 in Eldorado, Oklahoma. She married Ira T. Samples. Mrs. Samples had worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas during World War II. Following the war she moved to Elk City to raise her family. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Alice M. Samples, Walters, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons; T. D. Samples and Jack Samples, a daughter; Glenna McKee, a granddaughter; Carol and a great grandson: Nathan.
