Age 88, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 AM Monday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Becky Baxter-Crowell, Pastor, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Monatoboy died Monday, March 9, 2009, in a local care center. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born on November 12, 1920 in Ardmore to Issac and Dorothy (Pederson) Hanson. She graduated from Lawton High School and attended Cameron University. She married Gilbert Monatoboy in Lawton on September 7, 1944. She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Pansy Garden Club, American Association of Retired Persons, United Methodist Women Circle and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a Red Cross volunteer at Southwestern Medical Center. Survivors include her husband of Lawton; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike Monatoboy and Ann of Lawton; and a grandson, Bryan Monatoboy of Wilmington, North Carolina. Her parents preceded her in death.
