Graveside service for Inge Shipman will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Highland Cemetery.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Inge Shipman, age 73, of Lawton passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at her home in Lawton surrounded by her family.  She was born January 10, 1946 in Ingelheim, Germany to Heinrich and Anna Jäger.  She married Henry Shipman, Jr. on July 20, 1965 in Ingelheim, Germany and supported his military career.  She retired from Goodyear and enjoyed retired life and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two children and their spouses, Jeannette and Michael Pierce, Blair, Oklahoma and Frank and Kelly Shipman, Lawton, two grandchildren, Kelli Shipman, Duncan and Caitlin Whitehead and her husband, Dale, Norman, three great grandchildren, Oliver Grammer, Logan Whitehead and Emersyn Whitehead, step grandson, Ryan Marcus, step great granddaughter, Treyliegh Tibbs-Shipman, sister, Trude Müller and her husband Wolfgang, Germany, brother, Klaus Jäger and his wife Maria, Germany and sister-in-law and true friend, Gertrude Jäger, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Silke Shipman, Grandson, Grant Shipman, Sister, Anni Rittinghaus and brother, Manfred Jäger.
