Age 80, Lawton - Memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Bobbie McGarey, pastor officiating. Mrs. Longanacre died Tuesday at her residence. Burial will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. Mrs. Longanacre was born September 24, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany, to Anton Bernhardt and Elsa (Wagler) Guthke. She married Klase Ray Longanacre on November 22, 1948 in Clifton Forge, Virginia. She came to the United States in 1948 and had been a Lawton resident since 1998. She was primarily a homemaker but has worked as a cook for the Greenbrier County Public Schools in West Virginia for several years. While in West Virginia she was a charter member of the Lewisburg, West Virginia, Lioness Club and served as a volunteer at the hospital. She had served as a hospital volunteer with the Red Cross in Germany. Following her move to Lawton she volunteered at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, had been a member of Mountain Metro Ambucs and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband, of the home; two daughters and a son in law, Shirley and Rob Pearson, Lawton, and Linda Ward, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Douglas Beach and wife, Tina, Apache, Oklahoma, Jared Ward, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kerry Ward and his former spouse Brigitte, Gentry, Arkansas, and Sean Ward and wife Batrina, Siloam Springs; seven great grandchildren, Jackson Beach, Ryder Ward, Dylan Clark, Jeffrey Ward, Brieann Ward, Madison Ward and Darian Ward; and a former son in law, Donald Ward. A son, Bernhardt Ray Longanacre, and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice, 4121 W.
