Funeral for Ida Doris Shipp, 95, Lawton will be at 10:00 AM Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenn Lane, pastor of Olivet Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Shipp died Monday, March 23, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born November 13, 1919 in Bremerhaven, Germany to Peter and Margarethe (Wolter) Schriefer. She married SFC (Retired) Victor W. Shipp on June 23, 1951 in Bremerhaven. He died July 2, 1996. Survivors include three daughters and their spouses, Anita and Frank Antone, Oklahoma City, Deloris and Wayne McCormick, Edmond and Lorraine and Frank English, Springfield, Missouri, eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Ingrid Rhodes.
