Funeral service for Ida Marie Lewis, 65, Lawton will be at 11:00 am Monday, in the St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Moore, and Minister Ed Holloway officiating. Mrs. Lewis died Monday, March 28, 2011 in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born August 1, 1945 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Roosevelt and Elma (Holman) Petty. She married Walter Lewis, Jr. on May 12, 1987 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was a homemaker Survivors include her husband, of the home, five children, Kimberly Lipscomb of Lawton, Gregory Lipscomb & Sharon of Lawton, Karen Lipscomb of Dallas, TX, Marsha Harbor of Dallas, TX, Phyllis Wraggs of Dallas, TX, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a brother Michael Petty & Carolyn of Lawton, and two sisters, Rosa Long of Snyder, OK and Rene Stevenson and husband Ted of Phoenix City, AZ, and 4 sons-in-law, Gregory Wraggs, Sr., George R. Harbor, George Lucy, and Freddie Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Cynthia Hill, her brother Howard Petty and a sister Velma Bucks.
