Age 47, Lawton - Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Highland Cemetery with Rev. Terry Koehn, Pastor of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Gardner died Tuesday. Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. He was born in Cyril, Oklahoma on June 23, 1962 to Hewitt A. and Daisy Lou (King) Gardner. He was a 1981 graduate of MacArthur High School. He had been employed by Malt's Appliances as an appliance repairman. Survivors include his mother of Lawton; a sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Donald Smith of Lawton; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy Gardner and Jan of Oklahoma City; a brother, Ronnie Gardner of Lawton; a sister, Mary Lou Gardner of Lawton; a nephew, Chas Gardner; 2 nieces, Jennifer Benson and Crystal Jung; and 2 great nephews, Presley Benson and T J Benson. His father preceded him in death.
