Age 86, Plano, Texas - Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Shane Hall, pastor officiating. Mrs. Underhill-Rosenbaum died Sunday in Plano of Alzheimer's disease. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. Helen Underhill was born April 14, 1923 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where she grew up and graduated high school. Helen was the daughter of Jonas and Elsie Lee Todd. Helen married Col. Lawrence Underhill on April 4, 1942, and moved to Lawton, Oklahoma until moving to Plano, Texas in October of 2008. She was a member of the Lawton First Baptist Church since 1943. Helen was also a member of the Red Hat Society in Lawton. Helen is survived by her son, Rodney Underhill, a 1967 graduate of Lawton High School and now living in Plano, Texas; five grandchildren: Marine Lt. Matthew Underhill, Mrs. Stephanie Walker, Miss Diane Underhill, Mr. Brett Underhill, Mrs. Kelley Underhill Massoud; a sister, Velta Lee Bitsche, Lawton and four great grandchildren.
