Graveside service for Helen Brashears, 86, Lawton will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Highland Cemetery, Lawton with Dr. William F. Watkins officiating. Mrs. Brashears died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in a Norman hospital. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born January 7, 1927 in El Paso, Texas to Harry and Lorna (May) Jones. She married William M. Brashears on March 31, 1959 in Ruidoso, NM. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband William of the home, five children, Carol Petersen of Blue Jay, CA, Jan Ingebright of Jordan, WA, Michelle Munda of OKC, OK, William M. Brashears, Jr. of Medicine Park, OK, Lorna Brashears of OKC, OK, sister Lorraine Poteat of El Paso, TX, grandchildren Danny Becker, Bryan Ingram, Benjamin Munda, IV, Amber Morrow and Scott Morrow. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Arthur Jones.
