Graveside service for Helen Kaye Ange will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Cache Cemetery, Cache, Oklahoma with Zachary Ange, grandson and Pastor of Wichita Baptist Church, Cache, Oklahoma officiating.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Helen Kaye Ange, 85, of Cache, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2024, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 5, 1938, in Cache, Oklahoma, to J.B. and Daisy Willene (Mahaffey) Long. Helen spent her childhood in Cache and attended Cache Public Schools.

Helen married Charles Ange on October 27, 1961, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Charles passed away on February 4, 2018. The couple briefly lived in Oklahoma City and California before settling in Cache in 1966. Helen remained a beloved member of the Cache community until December 2023, when she moved to Brookridge Assisted Living, where she made numerous new and special friends.

Primarily a homemaker, Helen also worked briefly as a teacher's aide for Cache Public Schools and volunteered for the Comanche County Election Board for several years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family, especially attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. Helen was known for her competitive spirit and enjoyed playing all kinds of games with her family.

Helen loved shopping and dining out. She was known for her stylish appearance, rarely seen without a colorful ensemble, matching jewelry, and beautifully coiffed hair and makeup. Helen's warmth, elegance, and love for her family will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Wilma Alice Terry.

She is survived by her children, Steve Winston Gilbert, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Charles Mitchell Ange and his wife Vickie, of Cache, Oklahoma, Danalyn Kaye Ange Bryce and husband Chaelly Bryce, of Cache; ten grandchildren:  Daniel Gilbert; Katie Gilbert Hampton and husband Daniel; Emily Gilbert Williams and husband Braden; Heather Gilbert; Telesa Ange; Tara Ange-Wells and husband Chin Young Wells; Zachary Ange and wife Jetta;  Charleigh Ange Cole and husband Chris; Clayton Bryce and wife Michel; Delaney Bryce; and seventeen great-grandchildren:  Olivia, Owen, and Cora Hampton; Riot and Arrow Williams; Anthony and Alex Ange; Mariah Simpson, Shailyn, Cyree, and Tylee Wells; Lincoln and Ledger Ange; Chandler, Cruz, and Cuyler Cole; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
