Age 66, Lawton - Services will be 12:30 PM Wednesday in the First Assembly of God with Rev. Don Barnes, officiating. Mrs. Postlethwait died Sunday in a local hospital. Burial will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born on July 12, 1942 in Windischeschenbach, Germany to Hans and Freida (Groff) Ponnath. She married Buddy Postlethwait, Retired Military, on July 24, 1958 in Friedberg, Germany. She worked at Crosby Park Elementary for 20 years as an extended day assistant. She was a member of the First Assembly of God. Survivors include her husband of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Postlethwait and Penny of Lawton; a daughter and son-in-law, Audrey Ball and Brian of Lawton; two grandchildren, Duane Postlethwait and his wife, Sarah, of Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, and Larkin Ball of Lawton; a brother and sister-in-law, Hans Ponnath and Ursula of Nuremberg, Germany; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Inge Barrett and Ted of Suffolk, Virginia, and Monica Bowen and Jim of Richmond, Virginia. Her parents and a brother, Willie Ponnath, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God, NW 82nd Street and Highway 62, Lawton, Oklahoma 73505.
