Graveside service for Hannelore Phillips will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Hannelore Phillips, 86, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Hannelore was born on October 21, 1939, in Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany, to Franz Valentin Fuchs and Terese Schmidt. She later made her home in the United States, where she built a loving family and shared many years with her husband.

On August 26, 1959, Hannelore married Donald Lee Phillips in Russell, Alabama. Together, they shared a marriage of many years and raised two sons.

Hannelore will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Thomas Lee Phillips, born in 1960 and wife Sally, and Kenneth Wayne Phillips, born in 1962, grandkids Taylor Phillips and Connor Phillips, and a great grandson, Cameron Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Phillips, who passed away in 2017; her parents, Franz and Terese; and her sisters, Barbara Fuchs, who passed away in 2010, and Terese Fuchs, who passed away in 2011.

Hannelore's life was defined by family, love, perseverance, and the memories she created with those closest to her. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain a lasting part of her family's story.
