Funeral for Gwyn Rice, 69, Lawton will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Rice died Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Lawton. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born October 22, 1945 in New York City, New York to Stephen J. and Ena (Bodycombe) Spina. Mrs. Rice graduated from River Dell High School in Oradell, New Jersey in 1963. She also attended Cameron University. She married the love of her life, MSG (Retired) James Allen "Jim" Rice on October 28, 1988 in Lawton. He died October 3, 2014. Mrs. Rice was a legal secretary and had worked for Ashton, Ashton, Wisener and Munkacsy, Attorneys at Law for ten years. She then worked for Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma for twenty years before retiring. Survivors include her daughter and her spouse, Elizabeth and Carl Sanders, two step sons and their spouses, Tim and Mara Winders and Ken and Sherry Winders, grandchildren, April Lynn Mattice and her husband Martin, Zachary Winders, Zane Winders, Michael Conner, McKenna Winders, William Winders and Dahlia Winders, a sister, Elizabeth Synol and several nieces and nephews.
