Graveside funeral service for Guy Patrick Griffin, 44, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014, in the Fort Sill National Cemetery. Guy died Friday, October 3, 2014, in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Burial with military honors will be under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Guy was born August 31, 1970 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Marvin Emery and Janet Louise (Wright) Griffin. He grew up in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, Michigan area. He served in the U.S. Army for six years and had worked as a supervisor in the car industry in Detroit. He moved to Oklahoma to be near family. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his mother, Janet Griffin, Edmond, Oklahoma; his significant other, Loretta Lamb, of the home; two brothers, Kipp Griffin and Devyn Griffin and wife Darcy, all of Edmond; two nieces and two nephews. His father preceded him in death.
