Age 81, Lawton - Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Saturday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Deacon David Bunch, Holy Family Catholic Church, officiating. Mr. White died Thursday in a local hospital. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born on May 9, 1927 in Enid to Grover Cleveland and Elizabeth "Margie" (Cunningham) White. He married Norma Jean Cameron on June 18, 1948 in Lawton. She died on June 13, 2007. He served in the US Navy for a short time. He worked for Security Bank in Lawton and was the President and CEO of the Bank of Elgin. He retired after 50 years. He was on the Board of Directors for the Lawton Country Club and the Airport Authority. He was a member of the Kiwanis and the Jaycees. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard C. White and Sharon of Greensboro, North Carolina, and David D. White and Sarajane of Tulsa, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His parents, wife, and several brothers and sisters including, David White, preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
