Funeral service for Gloria Zavala will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Gloria Zavala, 65, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at her home in Lawton. She was born on September 29, 1960, in Juarez, Mexico, to Jose Delgado and Raguel Rodriguez (Graciano) Delgado.

Gloria moved to Oklahoma in the early 1970s and later married Valentin Zavala, with whom she shared more than 40 wonderful years of marriage. She loved to dance, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren and family. Gloria was deeply family-oriented, known for her warmth, generosity, and kindness. She was affectionately regarded as the "neighborhood mom" and truly never met a stranger.

Her loving spirit and joyful presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of the home, six children, Victor Alvarado of Oklahoma City, Vanessa Hernandez of Lawton, Yolanda Walker and husband Scott of Duncan, Oklahoma, Valentin Zavala, III and wife Ashley of Lawton, Jose Zavala of Lawton, and Jesus Zavala of Oklahoma City, 16 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one sister Raquel Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Elizabeth Hernandez, and two brothers.
