Graveside service for Glenda Sherl Moore, 71, Lawton will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin with Rev. Mike Teel, pastor of Cameron Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Moore died Friday, September 26, 2014 in Lawton. Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the funeral home. She was born November 17, 1942 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Sherlie Virgil and Zella Junitz (McClellan) Wyrick. She graduated from Lawton High School and had attended Great Plains Technology Center. She married Johnnie L. Moore on February 24, 1995 in Lawton. Mrs. Moore had worked as a greeter at Wal Mart and had also worked at K Mart, Furr's Cafeteria and Central Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at the Nutrition Center and was a member of Cameron Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore loved her family. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie L. Moore, brother, Virgil D. Wyrick and his wife Lynn, niece Jeannie M. Wyrick and her companion, Ernest Woodruff, nephew, Walter V. Wyrick and his wife Colleen and a great nephew, Virgil Dumas, all of Lawton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
