Age 89, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Willoughby, officiating. Mrs. Allred died Wednesday in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born February 1, 1919 in Lawton to Jesse and Lillie Mae (Johnson) McCord. She grew up in Lawton and was a graduate of Lawton High School. She married John H. Allred on October 10, 1937 in Altus, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2003. She had been a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church and at the time of her death was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had served as a volunteer at the Greiner School for the Handicapped as well as Special Olympics. She is survived by two grandchildren, Jeff Allred and Stephanie Martinez; four great grandchildren, Brandon Allred, Kevin Allred, Garrett Allred and Kaley Martinez; a daughter in law, Linda Allred; a sister, Betty Stigers; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Lou Anne Allred, and two sons, Donald Wayne Allred and Larry Allred, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert E. Greiner School for the Handicapped, 10 SE B Avenue, Lawton OK 73501. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5-6 pm Sunday.
