Funeral service for Gerry Eugene Wszolek, 56, Lawton, will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 15 at the Holy Family Catholic Church with Deacon Michael Romaka, officiating. Beloved son, brother, and uncle, Gerry went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 10, 2014 at his residence. Burial with Military Honors will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday, July 14 at the funeral home.

Gerry was born October 4, 1957 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Joseph F. Sr. and Enid Rosalie (Glennon) Wszolek. He attended Eisenhower High School. He enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged. Gerry enjoyed playing his guitar, riding his Harley, hosting pool parties and helping people in need. He was especially helpful for people with addictions.

Survivors include his father, Joseph F. Wszolek, Sr., Lawton; a brother, Joseph F., Jr. and wife Unhe Wszolek, Benton, Louisiana; four sisters, Vicki E. Gable, Valerie L. and husband Artie Box, Mary Barbe, all of Lawton, and Leigh Anne and husband Randy Jones, Shreveport, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; a nephew, Marc Anthony Gable; and great nephew, Tylor Michael Epperson.
