Funeral service for Geraldine Faye Gray will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2026, in Trinity Baptist Church with Bro. Eddie Coast officiating.

Burial will follow in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Geraldine Faye Gray died Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 92. She was born April 8, 1934, in Pampa, Texas, to John Ermon and Myrtle Emmaline (Cast) Willis. She grew up in Pampa, where she graduated from high school and later attended the Pampa School of Business.

In 1952, she married William Russell Gray in Pampa, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Mrs. Gray devoted much of her life to her family as a homemaker, while also working for four years as a nurse's aide with Comanche County Memorial Hospital Home Health. In addition to her work and family life, she was an accomplished self-taught artist and a member of the Lawton-Fort Sill Art Council. Her artwork was exhibited in Virginia and Hawaii, as well as locally at Southwestern Medical Center and the Leslie Powell Gallery in Lawton. She also shared her talent by teaching art classes at the Center for Creative Living and at Cameron University as a visiting instructor.

She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1955 and played an integral role each year in the church's outdoor Nativity scene. She also taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her sister, Gwyn Scott; granddaughter, Maia Elena Gray and her husband Sam Troxell; great grandsons, Connor and Duncan; her daughters-in-law, Paula Gray and Ivellise Gray; her niece, Donna Minnick, along with several other nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert Tristan Gray - 2023, and her son, William (Bob) Robert Gray - 2025.
