Graveside service for Geraldine Emerson, 78, Snyder, will be at 11:00am Thursday in the Hennessey Cemetery, Hennessey, Oklahoma with Rev. Patrick McPherson, Pastor of Kingfisher United Methodist Church, officiating. Geraldine died Sunday in a Snyder nursing home. Burial will be in the Hennessey Cemetery, Hennessey, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder. * The family will greet friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 7pm. * She was born May 21, 1934 in Marshall, North Carolina to Roy Ernest and Mary (Wyatt) Holt. She married Royce Warren Emerson on November 21, 1965 in Arizona. He passed away in 1993. She enjoyed playing the guitar and bowling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Snyder. She is survived by her two children, Janet Allison and husband Gary of Morganton, NC, Donna Schulz and husband Greg of Snyder, OK, two brothers, Henry Holt and wife Marzelle of Canton, NC, Wayne Holt and wife Lucille of Spring Creek, NC, six grandchildren, Brandie Foxwell of Morganton, NC, Hans Schulz and Hydn Schulz of Snyder, OK, Kacey Pauline Evans, Johnny Reiger and Jammie Emerson and a great grandson, Tyler Foxwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Linda Holt in 1970, and two brothers, Willie Holt and Ralph Holt.
